From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome and pristine cleanliness set a positive tone for my day. My double room boasted the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced in a B&B. Kerry and Ian truly went the extra mile, even giving me a ride to my meeting. My stay was simply delightful.

The room impressed me with its cleanliness. Soft towels and a spotless bathroom made my stay very comfortable. The bed stood out. it’s the most comfortable I've slept in at a B&B. Kerry and Ian, the hosts, were incredibly helpful. Ian even drove me to my meeting location. the hotel's outer appearance fell short of expectations. The lack of a proper reception area made me feel uneasy as a solo traveler upon check-in. It would benefit from some improvements in this area, especially considering safety. I appreciated the value for money, but the entrance situation needs a serious update.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Douglas Hotel. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and the comfortable bed made for a restful experience. The warm and welcoming hosts provided excellent service that made me feel valued as a guest.

The exterior looked run-down and misleading parking information was frustrating as public parking wasn’t hotel-provided. Some noise disturbances affected the quiet ambiance I was hoping for.

The exterior of the building isn’t doing it any favors. it looks run-down and almost derelict, which definitely sets a less-than-exciting first impression. A few neighbors' noises seeped through. I could hear traffic and what sounded like a train now and then. And don't get me started on the check-out time—10 AM is pushing it for anyone trying to recover from a late night. parking is misleading. free parking isn't exactly what you expect when it’s just public parking nearby.
